Hello! I am excited to meet you and share a little about myself and my nursing background! I obtained my RN license in 2008 and began practicing nursing in South Dakota. My nursing experience is primarily in emergency medicine. I knew early on that I wanted to be a nurse educator and advanced my degrees while working as a nurse. I completed my BSN in 2010, my MSN in 2012, and my DNP with an educational leadership focus in 2017! I believe strongly in nursing and nursing education and love assisting nursing students in NCLEX success! I continue to look for opportunities to improve my ability in helping students. With this in mind, my next goal is to become a certified nurse educator.

I am married with three children. Their activities include football, basketball, volleyball, track, golf, swim, and choir that keeps me on the go! I "enjoy" running marathons smile with my husband! If I can find some down time, I enjoy reading a good book.

Thank you for letting me help you with your goal of becoming a nurse!
